Even though the Oscars happened
four days ago, we here in Mind Pop Blog are still under the Oscar fever. Since
there are a lot of articles written about the event and you probably know a lot
about it so there’s no need to write about a summary or what we think. Thus, we
decide to make this list about the things that you may have not noticed during
the night. Included here are some of the most memorable mistakes or
coincidences in the Oscars.
1. Ellen wore a blue cashmere
jacket this year. A slight similar to what she wore on the last time she hosted
which was back in 2007;a whole red cashmere suit
2. Pharrel Willimas wore shorts at
the Oscars.
3. Liza Minelli did not wear a bra

Whoopi Goldberg wasn’t the only
one wearing socks that’s not formal for the event. Joseph Gordon Levitt’s socks
were and had cute patterns on it.

5. After she danced with Pharelll,
Amy Adams looked a bit embarrassed as she quickly sat, looked the other way. Well that’s what I think. Love her.

6. Lupita changed seats twice.

Then she sat at the back; behind Mr. Pitt
7. Bill Murray must have been
still stuck in the year 2013 when he presented the award for best
cinematography.

8. The screenwriter for the movie
12 Years a Slave, John Ridley, did not acknowledge the director, Steve McQueen,
in his acceptance speech. Even passed by him when he walked the aisle to get
his award although they sat at the same column. This ignorance led us a
suspicion that the two has a fall-out between each other.

And when 12 Years
a Slave won for best picture and its McQueen’s turn to give a speech, he did
not acknowledge his own screen writer as well. Throughout the video, as all the
cast and crew went on stage, we can see Ridley at the back with a neutral look.
We’ll at least he’s not ill-viewed by the others. He got some hugs from the
others while on stage, including one from Brad Pitt, one of their producers.To know more about

9. Broadway star Idina Menzel ruined
a high note during her performance of Let it Go. Still an amazing performance
as the audience gave her a standing ovation.
10. And the bombshell of
the night is awarded to John Travolta for butchering Idina Menzel’s name toAdela Nazeem. We really thought that Menzel dropped out from the last minute
and a singer named Adela will sing as the substitute. Right away, we realized that John probably
has dyslexia and it’s true.
